Dan Rappaport. PhD
CEO
Dr. Rappaport has more than 20 years of experience in the development of medical technologies from concept to market realization. Dan held leading positions in large corporate companies and in medical startups as a digital hardware manager, algorithm team manager, chief scientist, VP clinical affairs and CEO. He is a founder of an advanced stage startup company. Previous to Innohale, Dan was the CTO at MindUP, a JV incubator of IBM, Medtronic, Pitango VC and Rambam Medical Center focused on digital health.
Dan holds a PhD in biomedical engineering from the Technion, Israel.

Ofer Hornik, MD
VP Regulatory and Clinical Affairs
Ofer started as a practicing physician, then shifted to lead both the clinical and regulatory affairs for Rimed; superDimension; Cardiosonix; ElMinda, SynCath , QART Medical and Ahava, where he was in charge of dozens of clinical studies and regulatory submissions

Boaz Waserman
VP R&D
Extensive management and hands-on R&D experience, in the US and Israel. A multidisciplinary expert in both hardware (digital/analog/power) and software fields. Prior to Innohale, Boaz worked for Pyramid Technical and Zoll Medical and is an alumnus of an elite technological unit at IDF. Boaz holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University, Israel.

Koby (Jacob) Sheffy Ph.D.
Chief Scientist
Dr. Koby (Jacob) Sheffy is an accomplished MedTech entrepreneur, executive and scientist with over 35 years of experience. He is the co-inventor of the PAT (peripheral arterial tone) technology and was the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer and Chief Scientist at Itamar Medical.
Over the years Dr. Sheffy established worldwide scientific collaboration and research programs with leading academic and medical centers. Prior to this Koby served in various senior R&D positions in Rafael – Advanced Defense Systems, the Sleep Medicine Center at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and the Wolfson Medical Center.
Koby holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Haifa, Israel and a PhD in multidisciplinary research between the departments of Engineering, Oxford Brookes University and the departments of Anesthesiology and Clinical Neurophysiology, University of Oxford, UK. Dr. Sheffy has over 100 publications and international patents.

Yael Sirpad
VP Product and Programs
Yael has 15+ years of experience in MedTech product and development programs management. She previously held the position of Senior Programs Manager for Medtronic, and Programs Director R&D for Mazor Robotics.
An expert in medical device development, Integration, and Strategic Planning. Highly experienced in the design and development of robotic and imaging devices. Successfully launched innovative products worldwide. Experienced in leading cross-functional teams.
Yael holds a BSc. in biomedical engineering and MBA from Ben-Gurion University.

Dmitry Medvedev, PhD
CTO
Dr. Medvedev is a world renowned expert in Nanomaterials Technology. He is also CTO at Nanoplazz and at Quinta Lrd. Specialist of critical ionization velocity phenomenon and plasma technology

Elchanan Nahum, MD PhD
Medical Director
Prof. Nahum is the Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel (the largest in Israel). Professor at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. Visiting Attending Physician, Division of Pediatric Critical Care, British Columbia Women’s and Children Hospital, British Columbia, Canada.
Chairman of the Israeli Society of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine (2007-2018).

Maya Pachter-Tal
VP Business Development & Marketing
Maya brings over 15 years of experience in strategy, global marketing and business development in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries in startups and large MNCs. She was previously on the management team of BioProtect and Itamar Medical and has consulted numerous MedTech startups.
She holds a MBA from INSEAD and Ll.B. from Tel-Aviv University.

Asaf Grosgold
VP QA & Operations
Asaf brings over 15 years of QA experience with leadership roles in MedTech startups and MNCs including Teva Pharmaceuticals, EarlySense, and NeuroDerm.
Asaf holds a MBA and Bs.C. in biotechnology engineering from Ben Gurion University.

Nissim Darvish MD Ph.D, Chairman of the Board
Nissim is a veteran of the life science industry, with 25 years of experience covering medical technology development, corporate leadership and investment management. Nissim spent 11 years as venture partner and senior managing director at OrbiMed advisors.
eight years with Pitango managing life sciences investments. Previously, Nissim was the founder and CEO of Impulse Dynamics, which he led for six years, culminating in a $250 million realization event. Nissim obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. in Biophysics and Physiology from the Technion in Israel, and subsequently conducted his postdoctoral research at the N.I.H. He has published over 100 patents, authored over 20 publications and received eight prizes and awards. He currently serve as Chairman and Director of Biotech, Medttech and Digital health companies globally.

Yaacov Nitzan
An innovative and experienced medtech leader, who has established several therapy-changing medical device companies, including V-Wave, WhiteSwell and Aquapass Medical. Prior to that, Yaacov was Director of R&D at Edwards Lifesciences with responsibility for percutaneous aortic heart valve projects. Having also worked at medical technology leaders such as MCS, Medinol and Johnson & Johnson, Yaacov holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Technion Institute and an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University.

Nissim Mashiach
Mr. Mashiach is a board member at MediWound.
He served as President and CEO of Macrocure Ltd., a Nasdaq listed biotech company until 2017. Macrocure focused on developing, manufacturing and commercializing novel cell therapy products to address unmet needs in the treatment of chronic and other hard-to-heal wounds. Previously, he served as General Manager at Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson company.
Prior to Ethicon, he served as President and COO at Omrix Biopharmaceuticals, Inc., a company acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 2008. Prior to Omrix, Mr. Mashiach held leadership positions at several pharmaceutical companies.
He holds an MBA from the University of Manchester, an MPharmSc from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a B.Sc, Chemical Engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.

Amir Lerman MD
Amir Lerman, MD. Is an endowed named Barbara Lips professor of medicine and a consultant in the department of cardiovascular disease at the Mayo graduate school of medicine. Prof. Lerman graduated from the Technion school of Medicine in Haifa Israel and completed his training in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and invasive cardiology at the Mayo Clinic Prof. Lerman serves as an associate chair of the department of Cardiovascular medicine and the Director of the Mayo Clinic cardiovascular research center, the medical director of the chest pain and coronary physiology clinic and the medical director of the Mayo-Israeli start -up companies initiative. Prof. Leman is serving as the associate editor in chief of the International Journal of Cardiology and is heading the international microvascular summit.

Hartmut Schneider MD PhD
Hartmut Schneider is a physician with more than 28 years of experience in internal medicine and applied medical science. Dr. Schneider is a world-renowned researcher in the field of chronic pulmonary diseases and investigates the effect of sleep disorders on the progression of various chronic diseases.
Until 2018, he served as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. Today he is the Medical Director of the American Sleep Clinic in Frankfurt Germany. Dr. Schneider earned both his M.D. and Ph.D. in Internal Medicine at Philipps-University, Marburg, Germany. He has also founded 2 biomed companies.

Nir Peled MD Ph.D.
Prof Nir Peled, MD PhD FCCP is Full Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Ben-Gurion University, Beer Sheva, Israel. Prof. Peled is a worldwide KOL in the field of Lung Cancer. He is an expert in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology and Medical Oncology.
Prof Peled is the head of Oncology at Shaare Zedek Medical Center. Prof Peled focuses on the wide clinical and translational perspectives of lung cancer and studies specifically the biomarkers of lung cancer, personalized based medicine in lung cancer and Immuno-Oncology.
Prof Peled is the past head of the Thoracic Oncology Assembly of the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and the past chair of the Early Detection & Prevention Committee of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC). Since October 2019 he acts as a BOARD member of the IASLC and member of its financial committee. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Thoracic Oncology (IASLC), the Journal of Global Oncology (ASCO) and other international journals in the field of Oncology. Prof. Peled has over 250 publications in peer reviewd journals and numerous international patents.

Thomas Mehler MD, PhD
Dr. Mehler is an executive, entrepreneur and scientist with over twenty years of experience with both fortune 100 companies and start-ups. He has held several senior roles in technical, R&D and business development, M&A and strategic planning with leading companies including Phillips Healthcare, Microlife Corp. Taiwan and Linde Healthcare, where he was on the team that launched NO gas as a pharmaceutical product. Dr. Mehler has also developed and owns patents for Nitric Oxide releasing polymer and its applications including NO releasing breast implants.
Dr. Mehler holds a M.D. degree in human medicine from the Ludwig’s-Maximilian University, Munich and a Ph.D. in Biomedical science and Molecular Medicine from Florida International University in USA.
