Enabling iNO Therapy
For All Patients.
Anywhere.

Inhale the future, exhale the past.

Author unknown

Inhaled Nitric Oxide (iNO) is an established and highly potent therapy in cardiovascular and pulmonary care. However, it is currently accessible to about 10% of the patients and limited to intensive care settings only. This is due to its high cost, cumbersome logistics, complex usability and limited portability.

Innohale Therapeutics is transforming inhaled Nitric Oxide therapy with a comprehensive technology platform that has the potential to expand its use in hospital settings, and to enable applications in ambulatory and home settings, where iNO is not accessible today.

Nitric Oxide (NO) is a potent and highly selective pulmonary vasodilator used to treat PAH (pulmonary hypertension), and to improve pulmonary perfusion in hypoxia from many etiologies.

The administration of iNO (inhaled Nitric Oxide) is the gold standard of care for newborn infants with hypoxemic respiratory failure associated with PPHN persistent high pulmonary vascular pressure ("blue babies"), and is commonly used as a rescue therapy in adults with PAH, as well as for ventilated patients with refractory hypoxemia of infectious or inflammatory etiology.

NO also plays a major role in the immune system, and is used by the body’s cells to kill infectious agents, inhibit growth of tumor cells, regulate immune cell proliferation and activation, and modulate various cytokine and growth factor cascades.

Therapeutic Potential

Innohale is developing highly-portable and economical solutions capable of transforming hospital care, while opening the door to home therapy, where currently inhlaed NO is not accessible at all.

Cumulative data from studies conducted in recent years supports the potential of Inhaled NO to improve outcomes in patients with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) and patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) related to COVID-19 and other infections. These studies also reveal new therapeutic options for patients with Interstitial Lung Disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Cystic Fibrosis, Bronchiolitis, Bacterial Pneumonia, Nontuberculous Mycobacterial infections (NTM) and other conditions.

Our Cutting-edge iNO delivery system generates iNO from  ambient air and precisely delivers desired iNO doses up to 2000 ppm.

The underlying patented technology allows unprecedented power efficiency and system resiliency.

The device is suitable for a variety of indications in the acute hospital setting requiring a wide range of iNO concentrations and flow capacities and allowing maximal control and flexibility to the treating clinician.

It is suitable to ventilated patients as well as patients who receive oxygen support through masks or nasal cannulas, and can also be used as stand-alone therapy in patients not requiring oxygen support.

LightNO ™ - delivery system

The LightNO is the perfect solution for ambulatory iNO treatment at home.

It is a reduction of the PowerNO solution to achieve optimized ease of use by patients. Hence, it’s small size and long-time battery operation allows easily  commute while keeping safe and efficacious iNO delivery in predetermined configurations.

The solution includes cloud connectivity and smartphone application which allows an efficient patient-clinician communication

SensNO - Gas analyzer

The SensNO is a combined Nitric Oxide / Nitrogen Dioxide monitor. It has been designed to overcome the resiliency limitation of standard monitors at significantly lower costs.

The SensNO fulfills the mandatory regulatory requirement to monitor the effective doses of NO and NO2 delivered to the patient as part of any iNO therapy.

The SensNO monitor is based on a proprietary sensing technique which uses optical sensors to measure nitrogen dioxide produced by conversion of nitric oxide converts with ozone.

In comparison with other technologies (such as electrochemical and chemiluminescent detectors) our novel technique provides superior accuracy without the need to perform frequent calibrations and sensor replacements.

DiagNO - FeNO diagnostics

Until the disruption  of the iNO market will be completed with tankless solutions, Innohale has developed a rapid canister-refilling solution from ambient air.

The solution can be placed in or outside the hospital or  mounted on a truck. Thus, it significantly reduces provider’s logistics and dependencies on gas suppliers

CanNO - Canister-Refiller

Until the disruption  of the iNO market will be completed with tankless solutions, Innohale has developed a rapid canister-refilling solution from ambient air.

The solution can be placed in or outside the hospital or  mounted on a truck. Thus, it significantly reduces provider’s logistics and dependencies on gas suppliers.

PowerNO™ - Production & Delivery System

Innohale's cutting-edge iNO on-demand Production & Delivery System generates iNO from ambient air and precisely delivers desired iNO doses up to 2000 ppm.

The underlying proprietary technology allows unprecedented power efficiency and system resiliency.

The device is suitable for a variety of indications in the acute hospital setting that require a wide range of iNO concentrations and flow capacities while providing the treating clinician with maximal control and flexibility.

The system is suitable for treating ventilated patients as well as patients who receive oxygen support through masks or nasal cannulas, and can also be used as stand-alone therapy for patients who do not require oxygen support.

This technology is expected to revolutionize the Nitric Oxide industry similar to how medical oxygen concentrators have transformed the supply of medical oxygen.

LightNO™ Home Delivery System

Innohale is developing the perfect solution for in-home ambulatory iNO treatment.

It will be a reduction of the PowerNO in size, with optimized ease-of-use by patients and caregivers, and remote care by providers.

Its small size, durability and long-time battery operation will guarantee the system's portability, while ensuring safe and efficacious iNO delivery in predetermined configurations.

The solution will include advanced sensors, cloud and peripherals connectivity and a smartphone application that will allow for an efficient patient-clinician communication and remote monitoring.

DiagNO™ - FeNO Diagnostics

FeNO is a non-invasive diagnostic test that measures the amount of exhaled nitric oxide (Fractional Exhaled NO) in patients. FeNO has been established as a marker of inflamed airways, and has been found to help diagnose and manage asthma. Its use is recommended in the GINA guidelines (Global Initiative for Asthma).

Innohale plans to leverage its unique robust electro-optical sensor technology to offer a rapid exhaled fractional exahled nitric oxie (FeNO) solution for use at the point of care and or at home, for better monitoring and prevention of astshma-related exacerbations.

CanNO™ - NO Canister-Refiller System

The disruption of the iNO market with tankless solutions will take several years. Most current NO delivery systems in hospitals still require NO delivery via canisters. For this reason, Innohale has developed a rapid canister-refilling solution that allows efficient and very simple canister emptying and refilling with pharmaceutical-grade NO generated from ambient air.

The system can be placed on site in large hospitals, medical gas logistics hubs, or mounted on a truck.

Thus, it significantly reduces logistics and costs for providers and gas suppliers alike.
